Some may feel these new requirements are overkill, however it is important to remember that many of our clients are older, immunocompromised and/or suffering from chronic health issues. Their safety, and the safety of our employees is our priority. We thank you for understanding.

The following changes are now in effect:

  • Clients and staff are required to wear masks in common areas (lobby, hallway, restroom etc.) No entering the facility without a mask.

  • The waiting area is closed until further notice. When you arrive for your session, remain in your car and call 515-745-1470. The associate will verify your information, answer any questions and direct you to your room once it is ready. Guests/drivers are no longer able to wait in the lobby so please plan accordingly.

  • You must have a payment method on file (credit card or gift card number) prior to your session. Checking out at the front desk is no longer necessary. You may book online with a credit card, or call to book over the phone and provide a gift card number.

  • You must complete the online waiver prior to your session. We will no longer supply tablets for this purpose. There is a NEW waiver that must be completed by all clients, even those that have been in before.

  • The walkthrough is now in a video format, to be watched prior to the session. Associates will still be available to answer any questions, but this will drastically reduce face-to-face interactions.

We are closed Wednesdays as usual, and Sundays for the time being. We have updated the float tank schedule to allow for more time between sessions, which means fewer appointments throughout the day. See the online reservation system for availability.

There is no evidence that Covid-19 is transmissible through water, let alone water that is saturated with salt, filtered, and further sanitized with ozone and hydrogen peroxide. We thoroughly clean and sanitize high-touch/hard surfaces and the float tank interior/door between clients. Session end/start times are now spaced out by an hour or more. Floating is a solitary experience and social distancing compliant!

"There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Proper operation and maintenance of these facilities should inactivate the virus in the water."
